so this Labor Day Weekend was North Coast Music Festival.

aside from seeing the normal people, there were also a huge amount of completely absurd people.

and by absurd i mean:

lack of clothed people.

abundance of people asking me where to find molly or lucy.

lack of intelligent dancing people.

lack of people who understood Major Lazer.

But overall it was well worth the $45 to see Diplo insult the crowd for not knowing the words to “Day-O”.

For fucks sake, how do you not know the words to that song?

Side note: Did LSD again for the shows.

Pros: Felt really tingly

Cons: Thought the entire concert was a ploy to keep everyone in one confined place while the world ended. If you saw the skies over Chicago on Saturday, you’d be with me on that one.

Plus the stages surrounding the park had all these consumerist sayings on them, and the videos/graphics behind Major Lazer and Rusko seemed to have this brainwashing effect to it. My acid-induced fears were completely validated.

All in all, it was a good weekend. Good friends, good music, and some moderately good drugs.
